OVERVIEW: The policy highlights issues of P.E and sport infrastructure, curriculum, teacher development, talent identification and nurturing, resource mobilization, quality assurance, governance and management, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and learning.
OVERVIEW: This Education Sector Policy is intended to align the provision of Early Childhood Development Education and training to the Constitution of Kenya, 2010; the Kenya Vision 2030 and other International protocols.
OVERVIEW: The Ministry of Education has a responsibility to ensure that quality and relevant education is provided to all citizens. The policy is largely influenced by questions about the nature and kind of society and social system that Kenya wants to become or remain.
OVERVIEW: The Kenya Constitution 2010 prioritizes Sustainable Development as a National Goal. The Government of Kenya has therefore, an obligation to lead all citizens towards attaining this goal.
OVERVIEW: Research supports that school-based mentoring services have positive outcomes for children and youth which include increased completion rates, improved attitude towards learning, social skills, behavior and resilience.
