OVERVIEW: Public debt management forms an integral part of macroeconomic environment in any economy. It has implications on public expenditure and also has a direct bearing on macroeconomic stability.
The policy is meant to act as a guideline for debt management practices of the National government including the issuance process, management of the debt portfolio, and adherence to various laws and Regulations governing debt contracting and management.
